- 1. Type AB is opened by rotating the pen cap; Type C is opened by unplugging the pen cap;
- 2. Insert a new, sterile lancet into the needle holder until it stops;
- 3. Twist off the protective cap of the lancet;
- 4. Type AB is to rotate and tighten the cap; Type C is to close the cap and the pen body;
- 5. Twist the cap to select puncture depth from deep to shallow, counterclockwise 6→5.5→5→4.5→4→3.5→3→2.5→2→1.5→1,due to the different thickness of human fingers skin, choose the depth according to personal needs to reduce the discomfort of blood sampling;
- 6. Pull the rear sliding barrel back until it clicks and you will see the color change inside the release button;
- 7. Press the cap to the side of the fingertip and press the release button to puncture the finger;
- 8. After the blood collection is completed, type AB is to rotate the pen cap; type C is to unplug the pen cap;
- 9. Push the used lancet needle into the middle of the exposed side of the cap;
- 10. push the ejector forward to eject the sued lancet into an appropriate container.
